Pre-built dripper assemblies
A dripper assembly arrives as one piece: a pressure compensating Woodpecker Junior dripper, a length of micro tubing and an angled stake. Punch the lateral, push in the dripper and place the stake. Lead lengths run 24, 30, 36 and 48 inches, and flow rates run from 0.3 GPH to 10.6 GPH. Assemblies save the most labor on large installs, where hand building hundreds of leads adds up to hours.
2 way and 4 way manifolds
Flat MOD manifolds split the output of a single dripper between two or four drip stakes. The flow divides evenly, so a 2.0 GPH dripper on a 4 way manifold delivers about 0.5 GPH at each stake. Multi-outlet dripper splitters do the same job when you want to build the leads yourself.
NetBow and drip rings
Netafim NetBow rings sit on top of the media and release water from 4 outlets on the 5 inch ring or 8 outlets on the 10 inch ring, which wets the whole surface of the container instead of one spot. GROW1 drip rings offer a similar layout for smaller pots.
Dripper Assemblies & Manifolds FAQ
What is included in a dripper assembly?
A pressure compensating dripper, a pre-cut length of micro tubing and a stake, connected and ready to install.
What lead length should I choose?
Measure from the lateral line to the far side of the container and allow some slack. 36 inch leads are the most common choice for bench and floor pots.
How does a 4 way manifold affect flow?
It divides the flow of one dripper across four stakes, so each outlet delivers about a quarter of the rated flow.
