Roll or sheet
Rolls are the economical choice for long benches, greenhouse bays and outdoor rows, and are cut to length on site. Precut sheets drop straight onto a standard table or bed with no waste. Netting is listed as width by length, followed by the size of the squares.
Square size and color
Square size sets how easy the net is to work through. Larger squares, around 6 inch, leave room for hands and tools and suit big plants. Smaller squares give more support points for dense, even canopies. White netting is easy to see against foliage, green blends in, and colored netting helps separate layers or mark rows.
Trellis Netting FAQ
How many layers of trellis netting do I need?
Two is standard: one in late veg to spread the canopy and one early in flower to support weight. Tall plants may need a third.
How tight should netting be?
Tight enough that it does not sag under load. Anchor all four sides to a frame, posts or T-posts.
Can plastic netting be reused?
It can, but clearing old stems is slow. Many commercial growers replace it each crop for sanitation.
