Why lift the pot
A saucer collects pools of runoff. When the pot sits in that water, the bottom of the media never drains, which leads to root rot and mold and breaks down fabric pots early. An elevator holds the pot above the water line with an open grid that drains across the whole base, and it also lets air reach the bottom of a fabric pot for better air pruning.
Sizes
GROW1 pot elevators come in 8, 13, 16, 18.5, 21.5 and 26.5 inch round and a 12 inch square. Match the elevator to the base of the pot and the inside of the saucer.
Pot Elevators FAQ
Do pot elevators work with fabric pots?
Yes. They are designed for both plastic and fabric pots, and fabric pots benefit most because the base can breathe.
What size elevator do I need?
Choose the size closest to the base diameter of the pot that still fits inside the saucer.
Do they help with runoff measurement?
Yes. With the pot lifted, runoff collects cleanly in the saucer where it can be measured or removed.
