Double ended HPS
Double ended HPS remains the benchmark for intensity and canopy penetration in flowering rooms. A lay flat fixture design keeps the profile low so plants can use more of the vertical space in the room. Fixtures are available on their own or packaged with a lamp.
Ceramic metal halide
CMH produces a fuller spectrum than HPS with a lower operating temperature and lower amp draw, which makes it a strong choice for veg, for full cycle growing in smaller rooms and for mixing into HPS rooms to broaden the spectrum. Dual 315W fixtures deliver 630W from one ballast.

What voltage do these fixtures run on?
The ballasts are multi voltage from 120V to 277V. 240V is the usual choice for multiple 1000W fixtures because it halves the amp draw.
Is CMH good for flowering?
Yes. CMH flowers well and produces a fuller spectrum, though double ended HPS still delivers more total intensity per fixture.
Can these fixtures be controlled centrally?
Yes, with the matching ballast controller found in Lighting Controllers & Timers.
