Bag kits
Bags nest inside one another in a bucket or vessel, largest micron on the inside. After the wash, each bag is lifted in turn and holds one grade of resin. Kits come in 3, 4, 5 and 8 bag sets, color coded by micron. All mesh bags drain faster and last longer than bags with a mesh bottom only. Choose the gallon size that matches your bucket or vessel.
Wash bags and machines
A zippered wash bag holds the plant material inside the washing vessel so it stays out of the filter bags. Portable wash machines agitate gently and consistently, which takes the labor out of stirring by hand and improves repeatability.
Shaker bags and tea bags
Shaker bags and bucket kits are used for dry ice separation, where frozen material is shaken over a single screen. Mesh tea bags brew compost tea and steep botanicals without leaving solids behind.
Bubble Bags & Ice Water Extraction FAQ
What size bubble bags do I need?
Match the bag to the bucket or vessel: 1 gallon for small test washes, 5 gallon for standard buckets and 20 gallon and up for large vessels.
What is the advantage of all mesh bags?
The whole bag drains, not just the bottom, so water leaves faster and the bag is under less strain when lifted.
How should bubble bags be cleaned?
Rinse with cold water right after use, then clean with isopropyl alcohol and air dry fully before storing.
