Pressure compensating drippers
Netafim Woodpecker and GROW1 pressure compensating drippers deliver a fixed flow regardless of where they sit on the line. Woodpecker Junior drippers have a barbed outlet made for 5mm micro tubing, which makes them the usual choice for container growing. The flow rate is color coded and listed in the product name, from 0.32 GPH up to 10.6 GPH.
Self piercing Woodpecker Junior drippers push straight into poly tubing with an insertion tool, so there is no separate punching step.
CNL, LCNL and standard
Standard PC drippers drain the line after each event. CNL drippers close when pressure drops and keep the tubing charged, which gives an even start and stop across the room. LCNL drippers do the same at a lower opening and closing pressure.
Non clog emitters and bubblers
Bowsmith Non Clog emitters in 0.6, 2.0 and 3.0 GPH are built to tolerate suspended solids in the water without plugging, which suits outdoor and well water systems. Adjustable bubbler drippers cover a range of 0 to 21 GPH for larger containers and beds. Hydro Hat drippers in 6, 9 and 12 inch sizes release water through many small pores around the base of the plant, so the whole container wets evenly instead of one spot. Netafim arrow drippers complete the range.
Drippers & Emitters FAQ
What GPH dripper should I use?
0.3 to 0.5 GPH is common for small blocks with frequent irrigation events, 1.0 to 2.0 GPH for one to five gallon containers, and 3.2 GPH or more when one dripper feeds several stakes through a manifold.
Do I need a punch tool for these drippers?
Standard barbed drippers install into a punched hole, so yes. Self piercing drippers install with an insertion tool and do not need a separate punch.
How many drippers come in a pack?
Pack sizes are listed in each product name and range from 25 pieces to 1,000 pieces.
