Beakers
Low form beakers balance thermal shock resistance with mechanical strength. Each has printed graduations, a marking area for notes and a molded spout for clean pouring. Handled versions make larger volumes safer to move when hot.
Storage and tincture bottles
Reagent and media bottles seal with a screw cap for storing solutions, and wide mouth versions are easier to fill and clean. Replacement caps are available. Amber glass tincture bottles block light to protect the contents and come by the case with matching droppers, which are also sold separately.
Lab Glassware FAQ
Can these beakers be heated?
Laboratory glass is made to handle heating and cooling. Heat gradually on a suitable hot plate and avoid sudden temperature changes.
Why use amber bottles?
Amber glass filters ultraviolet and blue light, which slows the breakdown of light sensitive contents.
How accurate are beaker graduations?
They are approximate. Use a graduated cylinder or a scale where precise measurement matters.
