Supporting the crop
Heavy flowers and fruit pull branches down and open the plant to breakage and mold. Support goes in early, before it is needed.
- Trellis Netting: horizontal netting spreads the canopy and carries the weight of the crop across a whole bed or bench.
- Tent Netting & Scrog Kits: elastic netting with hooks that stretches to fit a tent frame in seconds.
- Plant Stakes & Cages: individual support for single plants, plus T-posts to anchor netting outdoors.
- Plant Ties, Clips & Labels: fasten branches without cutting into them, and keep every plant labeled.
Covering the structure
Greenhouse & Light Dep Film is the skin of a greenhouse or hoop house, and its thickness, UV treatment and weave decide how many seasons it lasts. Light deprivation film lets outdoor and greenhouse growers control day length and flower on their own schedule. Shade Cloth & Privacy Fence cuts heat and light intensity in summer and screens a site from view.
Structures and ground
Hoop Houses & Weed Barrier covers complete steel frame hoop houses with replacement covers, and woven ground cover that blocks weeds while letting water and air through.
Plant Support & Greenhouse Supplies FAQ
When should trellis netting go on?
Before the plants need it. Install the first layer in late veg so branches grow up through it, and add a second layer early in flower.
What mil greenhouse film should I use?
6 mil UV treated film is the standard for multi season covering. Woven reinforced film in heavier weights suits high wind and snow load sites.
What percent shade cloth do I need?
30 percent for light reduction on sun loving crops, 50 percent for general greenhouse cooling and 70 percent or more for shade plants, patios and privacy.
What is light deprivation?
Covering plants to shorten the day so photoperiod crops flower early. Blackout film is black on one side to block light and white on the other to reflect heat.
How do I fasten greenhouse film?
With wiggle wire in an aluminum channel for a permanent, adjustable hold, or snap on film clips over tubing for smaller structures.
