Trace minerals
Trace mineral powders supply the dozens of micronutrients that potting mixes and reused soil run short of. Micronized grades dissolve for fertigation and foliar use, granular grades are mixed into soil, and field grade suits outdoor beds by the acre.
Calcium, sulfur and potassium
Gypsum adds calcium and sulfur without moving pH. Sulfate of potash supplies potassium and sulfur for flowering. Potassium magnesium sulfate covers potassium, magnesium and sulfur in one input. Solution grade products dissolve for use through drip lines.
Soil Amendments & Minerals FAQ
How much trace mineral powder do I add to soil?
Typically a half cup to a cup per cubic foot of mix, or per the label. It is slow release, so it does not burn.
Does gypsum raise pH?
No. Gypsum adds calcium without changing pH, unlike lime.
Can solution grade minerals go through drip lines?
Yes. They are milled to dissolve fully. Mix in a stock tank and filter before the emitters.
